Meet our Animals - Spencers MonitorVaranus Sprenceri or Spencers monitors are named after a former professor of biology at the University of Melbourne. W.B.Spencer. These monitors are around 120cm or the old 4 foot mark. They eat rodents, lizards and other critters they come across like most monitors they forage a fair distance to find food sources. They inhabit Northern territory and Queensland.
